The margins are part of the stamp too

Ten sheetlets in 2020, many more afterwards

Since 2020, La Poste has presented a selection of stamps from its philatelic programme as sheetlets. The shop counts ten for that first year, among them Andrée Chédid, Frédéric Dard, the Rabbids, Beethoven and Suzanne Lenglen. The pace then changed scale: numbers run from F59 to F85 in 2022, then from F87 to F122 in 2023.

143 × 185 mm, from 9 to 15 stamps

All sheetlets share the same format, 143 × 185 mm, and bring together 9 to 15 stamps. They may be printed by recess, offset or photogravure, and all their margins are illustrated, which sets them apart from a simple sheet of stamps.

Their own numbering, and official-stamp sheetlets

Sheetlets carry a number preceded by F, independent of the stamps they contain. Two of them, F3 and F4, are official-stamp sheetlets, devoted to the Council of Europe and UNESCO in 2022, with their own numbering. They shouldn't be confused with CNEP sheetlets, FFAP sheetlets or souvenir blocks, which each have their own section.

Subjects that cut across the whole catalogue

A sheetlet builds on a subject already present elsewhere in the catalogue: the Ukrainian crisis for the Red Cross, the fairy Melusine and Peace for Europa, 100 years of the FFAP for philately, Tutankhamun's tomb for history, Marcel Proust and Erckmann-Chatrian for literature, Naruto for comics. Sites, castles and gardens are added, from the Tourmalet to Sancerre.

Prices counted in tens of euros

A sheetlet generally sells for between about twenty and about sixty euros, depending on the subject and the print run. All pieces are mint never hinged.
